Spoken Like a True Woman

Ella has started skipping her nap. This, of course, makes her very crabby all afternoon. Today, during one of her tantrums, demanding everyone be quiet, she yells "I want chocolate and quiet!"

Strong Guy

Carter came to Paige's aid, as she was struggling to carry a chair back to the table. As they carried the chair together Carter said to Paige, "See, it's not so bad with a strong boy and a weak girl."

A Christmas Dilemma

Paige came to me the other day and asked where we would put our stockings Christmas eve. I told her we would hang them at the end of their beds. She thought for a second and said, "I don't think Santa will be able to get to my stocking. He can't get in my room." "Why is that," I asked. "Well, I have a sign for my door. It says, Santa, please stop here."

Love Notes

My sweet girl leaves me notes quite frequently. I love it! Brian told me this story after I found the most recent love note.
Paige, working away on another creation, (she is always drawing, writing, and making things) asks her daddy, "How do you spell prettiest?" Brian answers her, "P R E T T I E S T." "Oh," she replies, "I'm going to need a bigger piece of paper."

I  found this note under my pillow. "Before you get in bed make sure you look under your pillow," Paige told me, beaming. Sneaky sneaky! I Love that girl.

This one she made a few months ago and I found it standing on my headboard.

Honey

Today I offered Brian's services to EllaBree for a book reading. She brought me "Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons," saying "Oh, no, bop." Which is part of the book. I was busy making dinner, so I took Pete the Cat and Ella to find Daddy. I called out, "Honey. Hey honey?" Not finding him right off I offered to read the book myself quickly. As I sat down and started to open the book, she said, "I'nt Honey!" Too cute right. When we do find Daddy, she runs to him calling him Honey.

She makes me smile

That Cater, he's a funny guy! I tell ya!
~Paige

Carter, rolled up in a blanket, says, "Look Sissy, I'm a taco!"
Paige answers very matter-of- factly, "You certainly are."
