I Like Peanut Butter

Carter now prays on his own. So sweet. It's also interesting to hear what these little ones are really thankful for. The other night he started our family prayer like this.
"Heavenly Father, Thank thee for the food. Thank thee for peanut butter. Thank thee for peanut butter sandwiches..."

It Looked Like Spilt Milk

Paige was looking at her oatmeal the other day and naming the shapes of the strawberries.
"This one looks like a squirrel, and that one's a ... and this one is a camel with one eye."
Uh random. I burst out laughing at that.

a great 'miss'count

Wow, that's a great discount! Thanks.
-Brian

This he says sincerely to a very nice, very quiet, and very confused clerk. There really was no discount though Brian initially thought there was because of a miscalculation and because he has received a discount at this particular store at times.

I can't see it, but I can feel it.

After walking in to a chair with a blanket over his head, Carter comes to me and says, "I Holy Ghost, Mommy!"

"Oh, Toodles..."

"Sissy drink all your milk. Ha Ha!" Says Carter with a huge smile.
"Oh no! What will I do," I say, going along.
Carter replies immediately, "a mousecatoddle will help."

Compassion for the Wicked

We read scriptures each night with our children. The kids each repeat a verse.

Brian: Wo
Carter: Wo
Brian: unto
Carter: unto
Brian: the
Carter: the
Brian: wicked.
Carter: Oh no!
