No Boys Allowed

Me: Honey, would you like me to make you a grilled cheese too?
Brian: Sure. Thanks.
Paige: *giggles* You're not a grill!

Skorts

Paige's reaction to daddy suggesting Carter get into sports.

"I don't wanna be in skorts. Some other little kids can be in skorts ... like ones that don't have enough teeth."  -Paige

Say What?

This is one of those things Carter says now where understanding context is everything. He uses it for the words hello, pillow, bubble, and balloon. He is now learning to pronounce the latter two so I had to record his cute little jabber before it was gone. Eew is another "word" used for many. It means shoe, ew (as in yuck), and blue.
Ello-ello-ello!
-Carter

I thought a video might best portray this "quote." The best spelled version I could come up with is ello-ello-ello.

Another Bath Time Laugh

The kids were in the tub while the water was running, filling the tub. Carter went potty in the tub, so Brian started emptying the tub to clean it out and refill it. Here's the conversation.

Paige: Did Carter go potty again?
Brian: Yes.
Paige: Why did he do that?
Brian: I don't know. I guess he had to go.
Paige: Well, that's tough.

Paige uses that phrase a lot. That and "That's too tough." It makes me laugh.

Deep Doctrine?

Mom: "What did you learn about in nursery today?"
Paige: "I don't know... Something difficult."

Mow! Maaaaow!
-Carter

This is one of his new favorite words. If you can't guess, it's his way of saying no. I know he's completely serious, but Brian and I want to laugh each time he says it.

Tight Schedule

Mom, I don't have time to clean my room!

All Aboard!

"I go on the potty train."
-Paige
At first I thought she was talking about a train, you know the choo-choo kind. She calls the toilet the potty train. Baha!

The Inspiration

The other day Brian was bathing our children and I found my self laughing at the things I heard coming from my husband and little girl. I thought "wouldn't it be great to start a quote wall?" But then wondered which wall I would want to use and how I could make it look nice and so on. In the end I decided that I do not want a quote wall, just a fun way to remember the funny, cute, and uplifting things said. This should be fun.

Here's quote #1 and my inspiration.

"Would you please quit eating the freaking toilet!"
-Brian
